At a glance
This market is on our watchlist — it isn't yet listed on Kalshi or Polymarket. We'll surface live odds here as soon as a contract is created. Expected resolution window: 2026-09-30.
The editorial take
Princeton has held the #1 spot in US News & World Report's National Universities ranking for years. This market asks whether the streak continues into the 2027 edition, expected in late September 2026. MIT and Harvard are the most likely challengers if it falls.
How this market resolves
This market resolves YES if Princeton University is listed as #1 (sole #1, not tied) in the US News & World Report 2027 Best Colleges: National Universities ranking as published on usnews.com. The market resolves NO if any other university is listed as #1, or if Princeton is tied for #1 with one or more other universities. Resolution is based on the rankings as initially published in late September 2026. If US News issues corrections or methodology updates within 30 days of initial publication that change the #1 position, the market resolves based on the corrected ranking. Changes after 30 days do not affect resolution. If US News & World Report does not publish a 2027 National Universities ranking by December 31, 2026 — for example, due to a major methodology change, lawsuit, or business disruption — the market resolves N/A. Note: This market is specifically about the National Universities ranking, not Liberal Arts Colleges, Best Value, or any specialty ranking.
